How to Care For Your Glass Art In The Home

Keeping your glass artwork shiny and sparkly in your home will help brighten any dull day! Whether the glasswork is in your sweet sweet garden or sitting on your coffee table. Here are some tips for keeping them squeaky clean.

  • Dusting with a simple duster is the best first step.

  • If dirt or grime has accumulated on your glass art, I would carefully wash it under luke warm water (not too hot or too cold as to not shock the glass.) Then use a soft sponge or towel with some dish soap and air dry.

  • Whether washing is needed or not, I would simply clean your glass artwork carefully with paper towels and the key ingredient, Windex! (You can use a towel for sustainability, but sometimes the hairs from the towel sometimes stick to the glass.)

Thank you for joining me. Stay safe and healthy out there folks.

Isolation Residency : Day 2 : Clarity : Through The Looking Glass

Made myself a little magnifying glass with some glass stringer and a tea-light flame. Used that and a sphere of glass to show you how I'm seeing things these days. It is clear to me that I am not seeing things clearly right now. I miss human interaction. The non-virtual kind. I feel like when I have the chance to talk to people from a distance now, there is this ever encompassing feeling of something missing. Everyones reflections are over shadowing me. It is only when I decide to go outside do I see the connections we can all still have with each other even at a distance. It feels better then ever to talk to strangers. Way more then I ever liked to before!
